A fire in front of Laurinlahti School in Tuomarila caused havoc on Thursday, destroying a vacant fire department house.

The police said that this fire may be related.

Police suspect a group of elementary and middle school-aged youths may have been involved in the series of fires.

– It’s a bit scary that there is some kind of competition among the youth on Snapchat and Tiktok. Young people think this kind of thing is a joke and they don’t necessarily understand the consequences, Geiger told Iltalehde on Saturday.
