Estonia reacts to Russia’s actions on the Narva River – Foreign Minister’s direct request: “immediately”

According to Estonia, the actions of the Russian border guard are provocative and unacceptable.

Estonia Reacts to Russia’s Actions on the Narva River

The Russian border guard unilaterally removed 25 floats from Narvajo. Buoys act as a border between Estonia and Russia.

Estonian Public Radio error On Friday, May 24, Estonia says it invited Russian officials to a meeting. Estonian Foreign Minister Markus Sagna commented on this case.

– We made it very clear to the Russian authorities that such actions are provocative and unacceptable. We demand an explanation from Russia for the removal of border markers. “We also demand that Russia immediately return the floats,” Marcus Sagna said in his statement.

Sagna said Estonia is also in close contact with its allies and partners in countering Russia’s malign activities across Europe.
