Hanifin and Hill led the Golden Knights to a tie game

– The timing after my transfer was amazing. I am very excited about this opportunity and I am very grateful to be a part of this team. My game is good and I try to help the team as much as I can. It’s the culture of this team: everyone takes care of their plot, and Hanifin was beaming after his most important win of the season so far.

Hanifin was also a key factor in Vegas’ best defensive performance of the series in Friday’s death matchup. The USA Pace led the game by example on their home court and held some of Dallas’ high ground, especially late in the match, when the Knights defended their lead.

– It’s a tight matchup where there isn’t much time on the ice. Dallas is good at defending like we are. We did a great job today with a lead that we weren’t content to walk away from. On our experienced team, everyone knows what it takes to win, and Hanifin continued to get the most playing time (23.48 per contest average) among Vegas players in spring real games.

Along with Hanifin, the Golden Knights’ big hits included goalkeeper Adin Hill, who played his second game of the spring. The goaltender from last season’s championship team was the host’s first to get between the posts, blocking all 23 of Dallas’ attempts and marking the third shutout of his NHL playoff career.

It’s been tough for Hill lately, but based on the last two games, Wesker is back in top form.

– Even though I had a really tough time at the end of the regular season, I’m always confident in my own game. However, it is about the spiritual side of things. I entered the fifth game well and I played a little bit better today. “I made some key saves but the win was thanks to the whole team above all,” Hill summed up.
