Taylor Swift Makes Substantial Donation for Super Bowl Shooting Victims

A woman was killed in a shooting at a Super Bowl championship party in Kansas City on Wednesday.

Singer-songwriter and pop megastar Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 (about 93,000 euros) to the family of a woman who died in a shooting at a Kansas City Chiefs championship party.

Swift won a Grammy for her fourth album of the year Elizabeth Lopez-Galvanille.

– Sending my deepest condolences and condolences on your heartbreaking loss. Sincerely, Taylor Swift, reads a message left with the donation.

Swift's representatives confirmed to CNN and Variety that the donations made in Swift's name were genuine.

The collection set up in Lopez-Galvan's honor has already raised nearly $300,000. The collection page states that the purpose of the collection is to provide financial support to the Lopez-Galvan family. She is missed by her husband and two children.
