A dog sledding and snowmobiling woman fell through the snow in Kemijärvi on Wednesday.

Rescue services were alerted by a bystander shortly after 4:30 p.m.

According to Lapland's rescue service, the accident site was located under a bridge crossing a body of water with a few centimeters of ice. A French woman driving a sled, several sled dogs and a dog sled fell into the meltdown.

But there was only one meter of water under the bridge. The woman was pulled out of the water with the help of someone who called the emergency services.

The dogs were also rescued from the water before rescuers arrived.

Carried the sled on the way to Norway

The French woman driving the sled was traveling from Hossa to Nordkapp, Norway. He said he enjoys snowmobile camping.

The Frenchman previously said he had traveled with his team to other locations in Sweden.

This time the trip will last for ten weeks and the woman said she will continue the trip after the accident. He had already traveled for 16 days.
